Jules joined us as Director of Education (DRE) in 2026 after finding her family's faith home at St. Philip's during the Spring of 2025. After spending many years leading teams in the corporate retail world followed by many years chasing toddlers around in the not-so-corporate world of motherhood, she is thrilled to combine her passion for creativity, organization, faith and learning in her new role with St. P's. Happily married with 5 of the best kids on the block, Jules can usually be found on the sidelines or backstage cheering for the Bierlein kids in all their different activities. She also loves baking (birthday cakes and bread!), reading, taking barre classes and walking Birdie & Mabel, the family dogs.

I'm so excited to be taking on this new role at my family's home away from home, St. Philip's. My goal is to continue creating a space in our ministry for children and families that is inclusive, approachable, accessible, and fun. I want families to know that whether they attend Mass every week or simply sporadically (because, hey, we're all busy people!), there is always a place for their children to learn and grow in their faith with us. All are welcome here and I will do my best to help every child find their unique gifts and share them with our St. Philip's family.
