Children

♦ "Train children in the way they should go. When they grow old, they won't depart from it."  Proverbs 22:6  ♦

St. Philip's church is where children feel they are loved and welcomed,

where families grow closer to God and one another!

Young children are welcome in worship or in the nursery during the 10 am service.

School age-kids are invited to Sunday School at 9:45 am. See the schedule below.

What we teach:

Our children's religious program is based on stories from the Bible. Our curriculum accommodates children from the age of 5-11 years old.  We incorporate Bible stories, crafts, and media into a full-faith experience for our children.  This allows for them to grow their faith by leaps and bounds.  Children will see that as their faith grows, it goes with them into their daily experiences.

Of course, children are ALWAYS welcome in worship services.

**Special Note:
There are "Quiet Activity" bags and clip-boards available as you enter the church with games, puzzles, stories and books to keep children occupied in church. Children may take the papers with them but, place the bag back on the pegs so they may be refreshed during the week.

If you do wish to take your little one out of church, you will see and area just outside of the sanctuary with toys and books to read to your child while still being able to view and hear the service.  Please, place played with toys in the basket provided as we clean and sanitize them in our best efforts to keep everyone healthy.
